Our services

Since Don’t Mind Me UK was founded back in September 2018 (on his late grandmothers birthday) She played a vital part in Luke’s growing up and is very much part of his mental health journey, Luke’s mission is to attend 100 Schools/Businesses across the UK to tell his story and to be able promote positive mental well-being with his tailored ‘Don’t Mind Me UK Mental Health Awareness and Education’ sessions.
We have also teamed up with training teams around the country to ensure that you and your staff can become Mental Health First Aiders! ( You have first aid for physical injuries, so why not mental!?) More on MHFA on a the next page!

We provide the theory and education behind mental health awareness and suicide prevention

We use everyday language to allow our delegates to understand and engage as much as possible whilst maintaining our professional standards.

We don’t just say we’re going to do these things, we actually do them. We also help you build a mental well-being strategy for you and your business.

this is how we do it

lived experience

Luke's story is breathtaking, what he has been through in the last 10 years, to where he is now, will inspire anyone, through his lived experiences, he tells a compelling story from being rockbottom, suicidal to starting Don't Mind Me UK - this story is real, raw and will make you think about your choices in life.

Theory

Our Mental Health Awareness covers: An understanding of what mental health is and how to challenge stigma. A basic knowledge of some common mental health issues. An introduction to looking after your own mental health and maintaining wellbeing. Confidence to support someone in distress or who may be experiencing a mental health issue. It also provides a chance to get up to date on the latest information on mental health issues and support which is rapidly evolving.

personable

We’re not corporate, we don’t use big words when don’t have too. If we visit your school or business, you can take that jacket and tie off and yes you can leave your hat on. (Sir Tom Jones, 1997) We want you to be as comfortable as possible during our sessions as the topics we talk about can be sensitive.
